Contracts: to support Business Units, Regional Profit Centers, Industrial Operation, Operational Central Direction and Support Function in the legal analysis of contract, contract drafting and negotiation of contractual legal issues Litigations: to coordinate the legal management of litigation and commercial claims, including product defects and faults, support finance people in respect of tax claim and Human resources in respect of labor litigation, being such claims respectively in charge to Finance and HR functions. The appointment of external lawyers for litigation and commercial claims will be suggested by the China internal lawyer and submitted for approval to Headquarters Legal Department. Corporate Affairs: to coordinate and manage at local level all Chinese Companies, in strictly coordination with legal department for assuring the respect of guidelines and the relevant local law, also coordinating the operational corporate activities currently done by the external support of China lawyers in order to ensure the correct completion of the corporate process. Monitor the process of proxies and delegations of authority to be consistent with the China company organization. Intellectual Property Legal Management: to support BU’s in coordinating and managing intellectual property protection activities Compliance: to support all Business Units and Functions at local level in promoting the adoption of procedures for minimizing risks of legal nature and ensuring that China operations fulfill local laws. |
