Provides quality support for The Haartz Corporation of new or existing automotive products at customer facilities in China. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Establish and maintain customer relations for quality related issues for current/future customers within China. Troubleshoot customer issues and generate appropriate/timely corrective actions. Visit customers to sort/quarantine questionable or defective products. Ability to work autonomously on the road with minimal direct supervision. Providing detailed customer visit reports. Accompany Haartz representatives on OEM and Tier 1 sales calls. Ability to defend Haartz' position on quality issues and negotiate PPM levels. Review and oversight of sorting activities at customer facilities. Willingness to travel for significant periods of time. Understanding Haartz products and processes in order to effectively evaluate material flaws and make go/no-go decisions during rejection reviews of potentially defective material. Development of limit samples for various material defects. Coordination and facilitation of material trials on customer equipment. Establishing a strong understanding of the customer's process including running conditions and process parameters. Providing feedback of these conditions to Haartz quality, process, R&D and Sales teams. Responsible for disposition and placing questionable product in quarantine status. Develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data per standard automotive guidelines. Performs Statistical Analysis on new or existing products in order to troubleshoot issues and provide data to customers. Develops and implements methods for investigating root cause analysis (8D's) and implementation/verification of long-term corrective action. Has good computer skills and is able to work with various software systems. Works effectively in a team-oriented environment where trust, communication and teamwork are encouraged. Work safely and follow all safety and environmental guidelines. Work in accordance to all Quality Systems principles and standards. |
