· Establish / implement all XXX purchasing policies and procedures, including vendor / supplier evaluation and performance monitoring. · Work in conjunction with the General Manager, the Production Manager, and the Quality Manager to establish and adjust safety stock levels through regular evaluation of production levels vs forecasted requirements. · Monitor compliance of all purchasing activities, direct reports, as well as all company operations to ensure the 10,000% compliance requirement is followed. · Provide training and developmental activities for all direct reports, perform timely performance evaluations for all direct reports, jointly develop Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations and Personal Development Plans for all direct reports. · Be an active member of the XXX Global Purchasing Group to leverage costs, deliveries, and joint purchases. Provide timely input ionto the monthly Global Material Pricing Report. |

· Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or metalurgy preferred. · Minimum five years sourcing / purchasing experience in a metal manufacturing environment as manager role. · Minimum 2 years experience in a ISO 9000 environment. · Able to clearly communicate in both written and verbal English. |
